Documents needed
What you need when applying for a student visa at the British Embassy:
Acceptance letter from a British University.
Details of accommodation throughout duration of course.
Relevant educational certificates.
Passport and two recent passport sized photographs.
Flight reservation details.
For self funding students only:
Itemised bank statements translated into English.
Receipt from university to show you have paid a deposit.
For sponsored students only:
Letter from your sponsor.
Unidirectory will forward accommodation details, acceptance letters and receipt of any deposit paid to you. If you are interviewed show an interest in your course and your intentions to return home at the end to use your skills.

Facts about your Student Visa
All Universities require self-funding students to pay a deposit.
This deposit is refundable if your visa application is rejected.
You are allowed to work 20 hours a week on a student visa.
You must study full time in the UK or courses over 16 hours
a week.
Close dependents will also be granted visas to the UK.
If you are in the UK on a visitor’s visa then you must return home
to apply for a student’s visa.
